System Requirements: |
The only supported operating systems are Windows
XP Professional and Home Edition, and Windows Vista.
For Windows XP:
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 also needs to be installed on the computer. In order
to perform this installation you need the file dotnetfx.exe which can be downloaded
from the following Internet address:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=0856EACB-4362-4B0D-8EDD-AAB15C5E04F5&displaylang=en
To verify that .NET Framework 2.0 is installed on your computer you can go to Control
Panel, Add or Remove Programs.
For Windows Vista:
The main executable file named ProcesSimO.exe needs to be run with administrator
privileges. In order to accomplish this, after installation go to the folder C:\Program
Files\Rithmware\ProcesSimO 1.0\bin\, right-mouse click on the file, choose Properties,
then choose Compatibility tab and, at the Privilege Level group box, check the box
named "Run this program as an administrator". (See example) |

Commercial License Users: |
|
The license is per computer site. In order to run the software you will need a dongle.dat
file generated by us. You will need to send us the name of the
computer(s) on which you want to install the software, along with the Order Form. You can use
this tool
to find your computer name (the NetBIOS or "short" name).
This is what you should see
when running our tool. Alternatively, you can find the computer name
manually. |

Steps to install and run the software: |
- Installation of Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package

for details, and skip this step if Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 is already installed on your computer (Windows Vista has .NET Framework 2.0 installed by default).

- Installation of ProcesSimO™
Download and install the non-commercial version of the software from the following link:
ProcesSimO™ 1.0

- Copying the dongle.dat file into the installation directory (for Commercial License only)
Obtain a dongle.dat file from us, and copy it to
the "bin" folder (directory) where the ProcesSimO software is installed (for example,
for the default installation the location to put the dongle file would be C:\Program Files\Rithmware\ProcesSimO
1.0\bin\).
